Keim Awarded Cross Country Rookie of the Week Honors For Second Consecutive Week
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Freshman runner Abigail Keim (Williston, Vt.) was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the second week in a row.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Freshman runner Abigail Keim (Williston, Vt.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the second week in a row.
Keim earned her second consecutive weekly honor for her 14th place finish at the UNE Invitational last weekend. Keim completed the 5K course in 21:19.0 to finish in 14th place out of 151 runners to help Endicott to a second place finish out of 14 teams.
The second place finish at the UNE Invitational tied last year's performance, but the Gulls were able to shave off 10 points as they scored 81 points total at the invitational.
Keim and the Gulls have two weeks off to prepare for the Bowdoin Invitational on September 26 at Bowdoin in Brunswick, Maine against a deep field.
