Farrington, MacKay Take Home CCC Women’s Cross Country Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's cross country runners Emma Farrington (Essex, Junction, Vt.) and Aleah MacKay (Bedford, N.H.) have earned weekly awards from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league office earlier today. Farrington was named the CCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, while MacKay picked up Rookie of the Week honors.
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's cross country runners Emma Farrington (Essex, Junction, Vt.) and Aleah MacKay (Bedford, N.H.) have earned weekly awards from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league office earlier today. Farrington was named the CCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, while MacKay picked up Rookie of the Week honors. Both honors are firsts for Farrington and MacKay in their respective cross country careers.
At the Gulls' dual meet against Gordon last Saturday, Farrington placed first overall with a time of 19:56 (6:24.6/mile pace) on the 5-kilometer course, while MacKay finished second overall in her first-ever collegiate cross country race with a time of 19:56.8 (6:24.9/mile pace).
The duo's performances aided Endicott in sweeping the top-three spots in the race and also helped the Gulls claim their first-ever "Battle of the North Shore" title.

The Gulls will host the Endicott Invitational in Essex County, Mass. at Bradley Palmer State Park on September 8 at 11:00 AM.
