Women’s Cross Country Produces Top-10 Finish At Keene State Invitational
KEENE, N.H. – The Endicott women’s cross country team ranked 10th overall out of 23 teams at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
KEENE, N.H. – The Endicott women's cross country team ranked 10th overall out of 23 teams at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Williams won the meet with a team score of 19 points, as the Ephs placed their entire scoring lineup in the top-10 (1-2-3-6-7).
Host Keene State (117), Wellesley (127), Westfield State (141), Tufts (157), Mount Holyoke (180), Babson (191), Saint Anselm (214), UMass Dartmouth (249), and Endicott (281) followed in respective order.
Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) led the Gulls on the 5-kilometer course with a personal best/school record time of 18:59.70 (24th overall).
Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.), Lulu Steele (Bedford, Mass.), Corinne Robert (Mattapoisett, Mass.), and Alyson Bortz (Dover, N.H.) went 2-3-4-5 for Endicott, also in personal best times of 19:35.80 (45th), 20:51.60 (92nd), 21:02.40 (101st), and 21:05.30 (106th).
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Endicott registered the fifth-best top-5 average in program history (20:18).
- Teagan Shaughnessy (Watertown, Mass.) notched a personal best time of 21:15 (113th).
- The Gulls finished ahead of Conference of New England (CNE) foes Hartford (15th, 457), Western New England (16th, 477), and Wentworth (19th, 529).
