Women’s Cross Country Places Third At Pop Crowell Invitational
WENHAM, Mass. – The Endicott women's cross country team placed third overall out of 12 teams at the Codfish Bowl on Saturday afternoon, hosted by Gordon College.
Wellesley ranked first with 38 points, while UNE (57), Endicott (91), Gordon (104), and Framingham State (130) rounded out the top-5.
Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) paced the Gulls on the 6-kilometer course with an eighth place finish (23:44.27).
Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) and Raegan Gagne (North Attleboro, Mass.) also ranked inside the top-25, placing 15th (24:26.82) and 17th (24:50.46) overall.
The rest of Endicott's scoring lineup included Corinne Robert (Mattapoisett, Mass.) and Teagan Shaughnessy (Watertown, Mass.) – 27th place (25:38.16) and 31st place (26:11.47).
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Today's field featured 118 competitors.
- Gagne and Rebecca Zuniga (New Braunfels, Texas) both PR-ed (Zuniga, 33rd, 26:20.37).
- Fourth straight season finishing third or better as a team (1st in 2023).
