Women’s Cross Country CNE Postseason Awards Announced, Lange Named Coach Of The Year
BEVERLY, Mass. – Three members of the Endicott women's cross country team have received Conference of New England (CNE) postseason honors.
Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) and Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) earned CNE All-Conference Second Team honors, while Spencer Lange was named the CNE Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year.
Suchy rounded out the list of award winners as the Gulls' representative on the CNE Community Service Team.
The award, which has replaced the conference's Team Sportsmanship Award, highlights one student-athlete per institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community.
HANNAH SHEPARD
All-Conference Second Team
Shepard led the Gulls to a second place finish at last weekend's CNE Championship.
The senior ranked sixth overall with a time of 22:52.00, falling two seconds shy of breaking her personal best on a 6-kilometer course.
Today's announcement marks Shepard's fourth career All-Conference award in cross country.
She is the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-Conference honors every season.
CNE All-Conference honors are awarded to the top-15 finishers at the championship meet (first 5 1st team, next 5 second team, final 5 third team).
ALEXA SUCHY
All-Conference Second Team | CNE Community Service Team
Last Saturday, Suchy crossed the finish line in seventh place with a personal best time of 22:57.19.
The junior placed 15 spots higher in this year's championship meet to claim her first career All-Conference honor.
SPENCER LANGE
Coach of the Year
Under Lange's guidance, the Gulls tied their program-best finish at a conference championship meet.
Endicott's squad total personal record times of over four minutes, saw five of its top six runners PR, and posted the No. 1 top-5 average in program history for a 6-kilometer race (23:37, 1:16 spread).
This is Lange's second career CNE Coach of the Year award for cross country (2023, 2025)
