Suchy Earns USTFCCCA All-Region Honors; Becomes First Gull In Program History To Accomplish Feat
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior harrier Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) became the first student-athlete in women's cross country program history to claim USTFCCCA All-East Region honors last Saturday.
Suchy accomplished the feat by placing 31st overall at the NCAA Division III East Regionals in a school record 6-kilometer time of 22:35.
Suchy's program-best 31st place finish also helped the Gulls tie their best-ever team finish at NCAA D3 East Regionals since the 10-region realignment occurred in 2021 (9th, 2023, 2025).
"We are so proud of Alexa for who she has been for this team. Earning All-Region is an incredible honor and no easy feat, but this is just a drop in the bucket compared to her character, how she conducts herself on a daily basis, and her involvement in other areas of the Endicott community," said Endicott women's cross country head coach Spencer Lange. "Alexa has stayed the course and given herself a chance to seize the opportunities that are presented to her. It is no surprise that she went out on Saturday and made this happen. Well-deserved and more to come from such a great person and leader!"
USTFCCCA All-Region accolades are awarded to the top-35 finishes at all 10 regional sites.
