BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's cross country program has earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team accolades for the 2025 season. In addition to the team award, Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) and Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) also claimed USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors.
Endicott ranked second among Conference of New England (CNE) programs, seventh in the East Region, and 49th in NCAA Division III with a 3.73 GPA.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
Shepard (expressive arts therapy & psychology) and Suchy (English) received USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors by registering a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finishing in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
At NCAA D3 East Regionals in November, Suchy highlighted the Gulls as the junior became the first student-athlete in program history to earn USTFCCCA All-East Region honors.
Suchy ranked 31st overall (program best finish) on the 6-kilometer course with a school record time of 22:35. This is Suchy's first career USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete award.
Meanwhile, Shepard finished 45th overall in 23:09, helping the Gulls tie their best-ever finish at NCAA D3 East Regionals (ninth overall) since the 10-region realignment occurred in 2021.
Shepard is now the first runner in program history to claim four USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors in their career.
