Late Goal Pushes Connecticut College Past Men's Lacrosse, 13-12
LANCASTER, Pa. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to Connecticut College, 13-12, on Sunday afternoon at Shadek Stadium.
Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.) paced the offense with a hat-trick and an assist for four points.
Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), Chris Hughes (North Kingstown, R.I.), and Manny Marshall (Chelmsford, Mass.) all finished with two goals apiece.
Donovan Devellis (Norfolk, Mass.), Aidan Kellachan (Westhampton, N.Y.), and Brody MacDonald (Hanson, Mass.) each tallied one goal.
In goal, Gio Panicola (Long Beach, N.Y.) finished with 15 saves as his record goes to 4-3. The sophomore also tied a team high four groundballs.
The Gulls led 2-0 at the end of the first quarter with goals from Devellis and Marshall. Panicola kept the Camels off the scoreboard with six saves.
Connecticut College then opened the second quarter on a 3-0 scoring run before MacDonald put an end to it with 7:28 to play before halftime. After a Camels goal regained their one-goal advantage, the Gulls scored two goals 35 seconds apart right before the half to take a 5-4 advantage to the second half.
Coming out of halftime, the Blue and Green scored three of the first four in the first five and a half minutes to push the lead to 8-5. Connecticut College then went on a 6-0 scoring run over the rest of the third quarter and into the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Graap put an end to the scoring run following a Travis Foster (Wells, Maine) faceoff win. This would be the start of a 4-0 run over the next 8:54 giving the Gulls a slight 12-11 lead.
From there Conn scored twice the rest of the way including the game-winner with seven seconds left to pick up the 13-12 victory.

- Each of the last three meeting have been one goal games between the Camels and Gulls.
- First goal of the season for Kellachan
- Hughes recorded a mult-goal game for the first time in his career.
- Graap now has 151 career goals, which ranks eighth in program history.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (4-3) hosts Curry on Wednesday, March 25 at 4 PM in its conference opener. Connecticut College (4-2) resumes conference play when it visits Williams on Saturday, March 21 at 1 PM.
