Western New England Tops Women’s Basketball, 76-60
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's basketball team fell to Western New England, 76-60, on Tuesday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Emma Shinney (Wakefield, Mass.) paced the Gulls with 22 points, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
Tenley Wallin (Danbury, Conn.) also chipped in with 15 points (5-12 FG, 3-6 3PT, 2-2 FT), while Tricia Wladkowski (Norwood, Mass.) rounded out the individual highlights via eight points, four rebounds, and two dimes.
The first quarter featured plenty of offense, as both teams combined to shoot at a .563 clip (9-14 EC | 9-18 WNE) before the Golden Bears manufactured a 22-21 advantage at the buzzer.
From there, Western New England outscored Endicott 35-16 over the next two quarters to put the game away.
The Golden Bears held the advantage in the contest for 38:59, and led by as many as 23 points in the third quarter (53-30, 3:46).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Despite the loss, Endicott leads the all-time series, 23-15.
- Shinney has scored 20 or more points in three games this season.
- Wallin recorded her eighth double-digit scoring performance of the 2025-26 campaign.
- The Gulls had their three-game winning streak snapped tonight.

Endicott (7-6, 3-1 CNE) visits Hartford on Saturday, January 10 at 1 PM. Western New England (9-3, 3-1 CNE) hosts the University of New England this Saturday at 1 PM.
