Bracey, Wallin and Shinney Secure CNE All-Conference Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's basketball team featured three members of its 2025-26 roster on the Conference of New England's (CNE) Postseason All-Conference Awards list, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
Aleah Bracey (New Bedford, Mass.) and Tenley Wallin (Danbury, Conn.) brought home major awards for the Gulls, while Emma Shinney (Wakefield, Mass.) earned a spot on the All-CNE First Team.
Bracey earned CNE Rookie of the Year honors, while Wallin was named CNE Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Bracey also was named to the All-CNE Second Team, joining Shinney as the only Gulls on All-Conference teams.
Additionally, Alyssa Garabedian (Cheshire, Mass.) represented the Gulls on the CNE Community Service Team for her charitable contributions and outstanding leadership within the Endicott community this season.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR | ALL-CNE SECOND TEAM
Aleah Bracey | Fr. | G | New Bedford, Mass.
Bracey is the fifth Gull in program history to secure Rookie of the Year honors, and the first since Shinney in 2023-24.
The freshman guard averaged 12.7 points and 3.0 rebounds over her 26 games played (all starts).
Her sharpshooting was a key factor down the stretch of the season for the Gulls. She shot a lights-out 61-158 (41%) from downtown on the season, and on three separate occasions, she drained seven triples in a game, which is the most by an Endicott freshman and one off of the program's single-game record.
One of her signature performances occurred back on November 25, 2025 against Tufts. In 42 minutes against the Jumbos, she finished with 25 points (9-16 FG, 7-13 3PT) and was the game-high scorer, nailing a ton of clutch shots down the stretch to send the game into overtime.
Later in the season, she logged back-to-back 27-point performances against Gordon (1/14/26) and Suffolk (1/17), and sunk seven triples in both of those contests.
Another iconic moment came back on February 11 against UNE, when she knocked down a corner triple to give the Gulls a late-game lead with just 22 seconds remaining. That shot wound up being the game-winner in a back-and-forth affair with the Nor'Easters.
Down the stretch, she earned four CNE Rookie of the Week awards (12/1/25, 12/15/25, 1/20/26, 2/9/26), showcasing her brilliance throughout her rookie season.
SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
Tenley Wallin | Sr. | G | Danbury, Conn.
The Scholar-Athlete of the Year is awarded to the student-athlete with the most prestigious academic and athletic resume throughout this season and their career.
Wallin is just the third student-athlete in program history to earn Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors. She joins Tara Laugeni '23 and Ashley Wright '11 as the only Gulls in program history to earn the award.
A senior criminal justice major, Wallin boasts an outstanding grade-point average (GPA) of 3.79.
She has completed internships with the Lynn Police Department, her hometown Danbury Police Department, and with the state of Connecticut's Judiciary Branch Experiential Learning Program.
On campus, she is a member of Endicott's "LEAD" and "The Hidden Opponent," which both exemplify her leadership and involvement in extracurriculars beyond basketball.
This season, she was Endicott's third-leading scorer with a total of 253 points scored. Her averages came out to 9.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 0.7 steals per game.
One of her more memorable performances down the stretch of the season came back on February 11 at UNE, when she dropped a career-high 20 points (8-13 FG, 2-5 3PT, 2-3 FT) on the Nor'Easters in a crucial 73-67 road victory.
ALL-CNE FIRST TEAM
Emma Shinney | Jr. | G | Wakefield, Mass.
Shinney produced a historic season for the Gulls in 2025-26.
The junior point guard averaged 14.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.6 steals per game, and 0.4 blocks per game.
She led the team in points (381), rebounds (185), assists (155), and steals (67) over the 26-game season.
Her averages of 14.7 points (4th), 6.0 assists (1st), 7.1 rebounds (7th) and 2.6 steals (1st) all ranked among the top 10 in the CNE.
On the national scale, her assists and assists per game both rank fifth in Division III.
However, her most impressive feat this season was her national-best three triple-doubles.
Back on November 25 against Tufts, she became the first Gull in program history to notch a triple-double with her 23 points (11-14 FG), 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.
She then added two more triple-doubles down the stretch of the season, one of which came on January 17 at Suffolk (16 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists) and the other on February 11 at UNE (16 points, 17 boards, 11 dimes).
She gained national attention for her record-setting performances. On January 21, 2026, the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) named Shinney its "National Player of the Week." She was the first student-athlete in Endicott women's basketball program history to earn the award.
Through just three seasons, Shinney has written her name all over the Endicott women's basketball record books. She has already surpassed the 1,000 career point threshold, is just 14 assists shy of the program record (472), and ranks 11th all-time in rebounds per game (6.1).
She and the Gulls look to bounce back after a CNE semifinal loss this season when she returns to action next year.
