BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 11 Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Suffolk University, 7-4, on Friday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Lilly Corso (Winchester, Mass.), Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.), Ava Schmidt (St. Cloud, Minn.), Jo Wimler (Portland, Conn.), and Abbey Agrodnia (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) all found the back of the net in the victory.
Corso and Hall highlighted the group, as the duo tied the program record for most points with two goals and two assists apiece.
Corso's tallies came in the first (14:47, 1-1) and second periods (PP, 11:24, 5-2), while Hall netted her pair of goals in the middle stanza (0:34, 2-1 | PP, 7:49, 4-2).
Schmidt also lit the lamp in the second (3:14, 3-1) before Wimler (PP, 10:56, 6-3) and Agrodnia (19:18, 7-4) rounded out the scoring in the third.
In goal, Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) stopped 27 shots to move to 4-2-1 on the season (32-10-3 career).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 15-5-0 all-time against Suffolk.
- The Gulls pushed their winning streak to six straight games.
- Corso scored two goals for the first time in her career and dished out two assists for the sixth time.
